These are 10 principles inspired by the Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication and dedicated to the very young (from 3 to 6 years old).
\nThey are aimed at being a useful tool for parents and teachers in order to explain to children, right from the start, how to correctly use digital tools during the years when they come into contact with mobile devices for the first time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

    Virtual is real<\/h5>\n

    The internet is not a game. Although a different place, it is real.
    \nThe internet is also made up of the good and the bad: you must be careful!!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    You are what you communicate<\/h5>\n

    You must be kind. There are people like ourselves behind the photos.
    \nIf you say unkind things, they will be sad, or regard you as bad.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Words shape the way i think<\/h5>\n

    you must think before speaking: count up to 10!
    \nThis way you can find the correct words to say what you would like to say.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Listen before you speak<\/h5>\n

    nobody is right all the time. Learning and listening is good
    \nas you understand the thoughts of others and you make friends.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Words are bridges<\/h5>\n

    some words can make you laugh and make you feel good,
    \njust like a cuddle or embrace. Embracing using words is great<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>

      Words have consequences<\/h5>\n

      horrible words scar and hurt. If you hurt someone using words,
      \nthey will no longer be your friend. The more nice words, the more friends!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Sharing is caring<\/h5>\n

      the internet is like a forest: it is better to be accompanied by an adult.
      \nYou never tell strangers your name, age or address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Ideas can be discussed.<\/h5>\n
      People must be respected<\/h5>\n

      sometimes we may not agree: it is normal. It is however not normal to say horrible words to a friend if they have a different opinion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      An insult is not an argument<\/h5>\n

      offending someone is not fun. You make the other person sad and angry.
      \nNow that you are grown up and are able to speak, there is no need to shout.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Silence says something too<\/h5>\n

      sometimes it is right to say nothing. When you do not know what to say, say nothing!
      \nYou will find the right time to say the right thing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

      The book for children<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      The book includes 5 nursery rhymes which draw inspiration from the ten principles in the Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication. There is also a section for teachers and parents so they can learn how to explain to children difficult topics such as Internet security and how to use the Internet responsibly.<\/p>\n

      An example: “The Internet is like a forest: it is better to be accompanied by an adult. You never tell strangers your name, age or address.”<\/p>\n

      “Parole appuntite, parole piumate” is an essential, fun tool to guide children around the world of the Internet in a secure way.<\/p>\n
